Frequently confused for the earlier USA Made Lennon model, but can be differentiated by the 'Inspired By' logo on the back of the headstock. Produced alongside a '68 tribute model in natural. My understanding is that pair number 1 were given to Yoko. I've never seen any of these original 48 with the lithographs for sale. It's a really nice piece - see below with my guitar: ![]() These 48 came with a limited edition metal lithograph of John made by Peter Kellett. The first 48 were held back from the original launch and then released by Fullers Vintage Guitars - two of each number, a sunburst and a natural. Whether you’re looking for a blues guitar or you’re planning on doing something truly avant-garde, the Casino is a really solid bet but, most of all, the Casino is a truly excellent songwriter’s guitar. ![]() In comparison, the far cheaper standard Chinese-made Casino lacks the charm and charisma of the 'Inspired By' model - both tonally and visually. ![]() They were limited to 1,965 and came in two finishes - one in sunburst, as Lennon originally got it and one stripped to natural to mimic how he tweaked his. It came with a great Epiphone hard case, which included the pick guard, as Lennon had removed his when he sanded off the sunburst finish. Overall, this 'Inspired By' Casino has that vintage-like tone down to a tee and is wonderfully musical. It's an Epiphone John Lennon 'Revolution' Casino. Epiphone also made the cheaper 'Inspired By' ones more recently - but this is one of the preceding ones from around 15 years ago. I'm after some help valuing a guitar of mine.
